Claim Compensation

An Accident Claims Agent Story - John's Blog

Well here we go with my first venture into the world of blogging. I'm slightly apprehensive as I never managed to keep a diary whilst a young man. But I'll give it a go and will try to keep you up to date with my work throughout the coming months.

Why write a blog. A question I have many people recently. However it has dawned on me that this may probably be the best way to let you know of my involvement in and experience in accident and criminal injury claims.

OK. The History.

After retiring from the Metropolitan Police after 30 years service (of which 27 plus years were spent in the CID) I looked for a fresh challenge. This I initially found in a company that specialised in Personal/Criminal Claims and was headed by a Barrister. After receiving fairly intensive training in their procedures I undertook to manage claims on their behalf in South East London and part of Kent.

The basic philosophy of that company was that clients were the most important people in our daily work. Our service was totally geared up to looking after them.

This suited me down to the ground as I had spent my entire police service in helping those who had been either the direct or indirect victims of crime. I knew and understood the trauma that being injured in an incident or subjected to acts of violence had on them. I was used to empathising with them and in obtaining the detailed evidence required to take cases forward to Solicitors and The Crown Prosecution Service on their behalf.

Dealing with the new paperwork required by our Personal Injury Solicitors soon became second nature to me.

After several years I left the company and then carried on working on my own in the claims management area.

As time went on I developed a relationship with the team from Integrity Claims Management and now continue to act for them in helping their clients in London and The South East.

Many changes have taken place within the last 10 years whilst I have been involved in the "No Win No fee" service for Personal Injury and Criminal Injury Claims. During this period I have visited many hundreds of clients at their home and or workplace and helped through the initial process of starting a claim.

This includes sorting out the incident details and completing and explaining the Solicitors paperwork to them in Personal Injury Claims. For Criminal Injury Claims the company will deal direct on their behalf.

We continue to embrace the same philosophy of client care, always remembering that our clients have been injured as a result of someone else's negligence/carelessness or regrettably violence.

So here ends my introduction and in the coming months I'll let you know more about the day to day work I am and have been involved in. when helping clients get the compensation they deserve and most importantly are entitled to.
